Low Carbon Steel Shots
In 2019, Bayık Group established a Low Carbon Steel Shot production facility to consume
the scrap metal generated during the production of ERW Pipe & Hollow Section and flat steel.
The scrap metal is melted in electric induction furnaces to produce low carbon steel shots in different sizes,
in accordance with the international SAE J2175 standard.
Low Carbon Steel Shots are used in various fields, including blasting consumables,
surface cleaning and automotive spare parts.
